How are payments managed on Day Rate?

Payments on Day Rate are managed through the website. Once a job is completed, the customer and electrician will sign off on the work and the payment will be released from the suspense account and paid to the electrician. This ensures that both parties are satisfied with the work before payment is released.

How do I know that an electrician is qualified and trustworthy?

All electricians on Day Rate are required to provide proof of their qualifications and insurance before they can register on the website. Additionally, customers are encouraged to read electricians’ profiles and reviews from previous jobs to get a sense of their experience and trustworthiness.

What if I am not satisfied with the work completed by an electrician?

If you are not satisfied with the work completed by an electrician, you should contact them directly to discuss your concerns. Register as an Electrician

To start accepting day rate work, the first step is to register on the Day Rate website. Click on the “Register” button on the homepage and provide the required details, including your name, email address, contact number, and
professional credentials.

Create a Profile

Once you have registered, create a profile that showcases your skills and expertise. Upload a professional profile picture, and add a brief bio that highlights your experience, qualifications, and any relevant certifications. This information helps customers understand your skills and qualifications and enables them to make an informed decision when selecting an electrician for their job.

Browse Jobs

After you’ve created your profile, you can start browsing jobs in your area. You can use the interactive map to find jobs that are near you, or search for specific jobs by category. When you find a job that you’re interested in, you can send a message to the customer to let them know you’re available and interested in the job.

Complete the Job and Get Paid

If the customer chooses to hire you for the job, you can use the Day Rate website to manage the job from start to finish. You’ll receive payment for the job once the customer has signed off on the work. Day Rate will hold the payment in suspense until both you and the customer have agreed that the job is complete, ensuring that you get paid for the work you’ve done.
